Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2026: JNVs Asked to Organize Campaign from 17 September to 2 October
The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), Regional Office Ahmedabad has directed all Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas under the Ahmedabad Region to observe Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2026 from 17 September to 2 October 2026.
The campaign will culminate in Swachh Bharat Diwas on 2 October. The theme for this year’s campaign is:
“Swachhata Mein Sabhhag; Swachh Bharat, Viksit Bharat”
As per the communication dated 21 September 2026, all JNVs in the Ahmedabad Region have been instructed to organize the campaign activities proactively and in a time-bound manner. The Regional Office has also emphasized that the matter should be treated as “Top Priority.”
The communication was issued in pursuance of the Ministry of Education, Department of School Education & Literacy (DoSE&L), D.O. Letter No. 17-35/2025-Coord dated 18 September 2026. The Assistant Commissioner (Cluster In-charge), NVS Regional Office Ahmedabad, has been assigned the role of close monitoring.
