IOQM

The IOQM Registration of students and Centre Registration already started. Student’s Registration start from 17.07.2024. The Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education (HBCSE) Mumbai is the nodal agency of Government of India for implementing the Olympiad programme in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy and Junior Science.

The Details of Mathematics Olympiad (IOQM 2024) are as below:

Student Registration Process

1. Eligibility Criteria
   • Students born between 1st august, 2005 and 31st July 2012 and studying in Class 8 to 12.
2. Registration – 17 July 2024 to 12th August 2024. JNV Students should register in JNV School Only.
3. Registration Fees – Rs. 180/- Per student (Concessional) for NVS students.
4. Exam Date – First stage, Second stage & Third stage as under

Exam Schedule of IOQM Exam 2024

First Stage Exam – Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM)

1. The IOQM is being conducted by the Mathematics Teachers Association (India)
2. Date – 8th September 2024
3. Duration – 3 Hours
4. Total Marks – 100
5. No Negative Marking OMR based Exam.
6. The answer to each question is an integer in the range 00-09. no Negative marking
7. Composition of the Paper – 10 Question of 2 marks each; 10 question of 3 marks each; 10 question of 5 marks each.

Second Stage Exam – Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMO)

1. Date – 3rd November 2024
2. Duration – 3 hours
3. Number of Question – 06
4. Each question requires writing details proof

Third Stage Exam – Indian National Mathematics Olympiad (INMO)

1. Date – 19th January 2025
2. Duration – 4.5 hours
3. Each question requires writing detailed proof.
