With reference to, the subject cited above, it has been observed that in some JNVs, only one Counsellor and one Hostel Superintendent have been allotted, while in others, the posts are still vacant. However, as per the directions of the Hon’ble commissioner, it is mandatory to engage one male and one female Counsellor, and one male and one female Hostel Superintendent in each JNV.

In view of this, all JNVs wherever both the post of Counsellor (Male & Female) and Hostel superintendent (Male & Female) are not filled, are instructed to conduct walk-in interview at JNV level following all guidelines issued by headquarter. It is mandatory to ensure eligibility of candidates as per norms. AC cluster l/C shall be invited to join interview online. Final approval shall be taken from Regional ‘office before final selection. It is advisable to conduct interview for the post. of vacant counselor and Hostel Superintendent on the same day.

The whole exercise at JNV level should be completed by 18.08.2025
