Educational Qualifications for Hostel Superintendent in NVS

Essential Academic Qualification

1. Essential Academic Qualification- Graduation in any discipline
2. Prior work Experience:
   • Minimum 10 years of experience in pay level 6 or above of 7thCPC (or equivalent scale), in Sr. Secondary residential school of Central/State Govt./Autonomous organizations of Central or State Govt./ Defence establishment.
   • Ten months (excluding vacations) with usual breaks in a year shall be considered as one year for purpose of determining experience

Desirable Academic Qualification

1. Master’s degree/B.Ed
2. Proficiency in regional language to be verified during personal talk (no documentary evidence required).

AGE LIMIT –Minimum Age as on 1st July 2024: 35 years for engagement and maximum age limit will be 62 Years as on 1st July 2024.

Important Instructions :

1. Applications are invited by eligible candidates for engagement as Hostel Superintendents purely on contract basis in Jawahar Navodaya Vidylayas as per need during session .
2. A candidate is required to sign up using a valid e-mail id. An OTP will be sent to the email to verify it. After verifying the email, candidate can set a new password for logging into the site.
3. After Registration candidate should login using registered e-mail and the new password.
4. A candidate can apply for contract engagement only for JNVs of one Region of NVS. Applying for more than one Region is not permitted.
5. After completing all entries, candidate has to click the final “confirm” button to complete the application submission. Edit facility will not be available after clicking the confirm button. Application will be considered for processing only after clicking the “confirm” button.
