The Department of School Education and Literacy (DoSE&L), Ministry of Education (MoE), is organising a Drawing and Painting Competition for students of Classes 6 to 8 to celebrate Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 by promoting cultural diversity, ceremonial traditions and rituals through creativity.

Who can Participate – Eligibility Maha Kumbh Mela Competition 2025

• The students of Class 6 to 8 of CBSE-affiliated schools across country (except KVS, NVS) may voluntarily participate.

Themes for the Contest

• Bhavya Maha Kumbh:
  • Depict the spiritual magnificence and vibrant atmosphere of the Maha Kumbh & the sacred confluence of Ganga, Yamuna, and Sarawati at Prayagraj
• Divya Maha Kumbh:
  • Showcase the traditions, rituals and ceremonies related to Maha Kumbh Mela
• Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat:
  • Illustrate the cultural diversity and harmony fostered through the Maha Kumbh Mela

Awards and Prizes in each Category [(i) Drawing and (ii) Painting] at All India Level

•  First Prize -INR 15,000/-
•  Second Prize INR 10,000/-
•  Third Prize INR 7,000/-
•  10 Consolation prizes each comprising a certificate and a gift hamper
