Transaction in the Class would Proceed in the following Manner:-

  1. The Class would start with a discussion on what the students have already learnt in the previous classes and hence what is it that they would learn now.
  2. They would also be told the significance of the topic that they would be studying.
  3. An oral quiz will be taken and students will be asked to Find
    • Difference between Perimeter And Area.
    • Formulas of Perimeters.
    • Formulas of Area.
    • Value of Pi

INTRODUCTION OF THE TOPIC-

  1. Recall of  different shapes. (like square, rectangle, circle, triangle, etc)
  2. Perimeter of all shapes.
  3. Area of Triangles and Parallelogram.
  4. Area of other shapes.
  5. Circumference of Circle.
  6. Area of Circle.
  7. Guided practice followed by Independent Practice of NCERT based/ type questions to be discussed in the classroom.

C. Topic of the Lesson of the Lesson for Presentation by the Students

(Once in a week by rearranging classroom setting suitable for group work) Students will be divided into groups & each group has been given task of find the Perimeter and Area of given shapes.
