You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher but your own soul.” – Swami Vivekananda. Remembering The Great Saint Swami Vivkanand.

On his birth anniversary Today on 12th January, I wish that we all are blessed with all the energy and strength to do the right thing in life. Swami Vivekananda was one of the Greatest Spiritual leaders of India and was credited with bringing the glory of the Hindu philosophy to the global platform. A lot has been written and said about Swami Vivekananda. He has been called a monk, a prophet, a nationalist, a philosopher, a social reformer, a prolific writer, an educationalist and so on.

Swami Vivekananda was born on January 12, 1863 as Narendra Nath Datta in Kolkata into an aristocratic Bengali Kayastha family and became a disciple of the famed Saint Swami Ramakrishna Paramhansa. He quoted that “Be the servant while leading, Be unselfish. Have infinite patience, and success is yours”

Swami Vivekananda spent his life in the service of humanity. He not only revived our ancient heritage, but also enlightened and awakened peoples religious consciousness and worked for uplifting the downtrodden.

Dear friends, Swami Vivekananda’s messages was simple yet powerful. He conveyed his ideas directly to the people, especially to the youth. He said “Whatever you think, that you will be. If you think yourselves weak, weak you will be; If you think yourselves strong, strong you will be.”

Dear friends, it is entirely fitting that the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, is observed as National Youth Day to Rekindle the eternal message of this Great Patriot.

Dear friends, let us realize the relevance of Swami Vivekananda in these exciting and challenging times. Let us all unite and work for the country with purity, patience, and perseverance. And try to listen the exhorting of Swami Vivekananda “Arise! Awake! And Stop not Till the Goal is Reached”. With this, here end my speech.

Thank you.

On My Side Thanks to Beloved Readers.
