I Vedant Darji from class 9th standing in front of you to give a speech on the auspicious occasion of Teachers Day and this is a golden opportunity for me.
My dear friends, we all know that we celebrate teachers day on 5th September every year in honor of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. He was the person who played an important role for the betterment of the nation. He has contributed in the field of education. He has always been famous for his work from student to professor in performing his duties. Today is the day to pay tribute to Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan.
My dear friends, along with teaching chapters, giving work in our notebooks, corrections etc.What does a teacher do for his students ? A teacher makes his student capable enough to face problems, he inculcate moral values, he brings awareness in his students and this is the reason why a teacher called ‘Guru’ in our society. And that’s why it is said that ‘if we respect teachers, we respect god’. Teacher is the most respected person in the society.
Our teachers treat us like our parents. We are lucky to have teachers like you. Your love, care, knowledge and affection which we get in the schools make us feel like we get from our parents. A teacher shows us the way to live a better life.
