I am Yashaswi Shailjesh Shukla, student of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Shravasti. I have been admitted to school in the session 2021-22. After passing class 6,7,8, I was transferred to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Navsari Gujarat under migration policy to study in class 9th. Lottery method is adopted to select students for migration, in which i was selected.

After the selection process, the application form was signed by the parents. After summer vacation we came to Navsari navodaya . Our teachers were with us as supervisors and guides to bring us here. We got to learn a lot by staying here in school. Got travel experience too. I’ve never lived so far from home before. And coming into migration, living alone away from home and maintaining coordination with others came quite well.

Here there were neither people like Shravasti nor people with language like him, Still we always had a feeling of intimacy. There are many more things that we got to learn here. We were also taken to many historical sites.

We got enough love from the teachers of JNV Navsari and also from our friends. I got the opportunity to come in migration, for this I will be grateful to the JNV committee. And I would advise all the junior students to enthusiastically accept the opportunity of migration.
