1. Swachhata Shapath by students and teachers/staff.

2. Meetings of VMC/PTAs or between parents and teachers in the first week of Pakhwada to highlight the importance of cleanliness & sanitation, importance of hand-washing, promote Water Harvesting practices during PTMs, good practices for hygiene and sanitation in JNVs as well as home.
3. Teachers to inspect water and sanitary facilities in JNVs to do a quick assessment of water, sanitation and hygiene facilities and make proposal/plan for repair and upkeep of the facilities, if required.
4. Competitions for clean and well maintained premises classroom, Dormitories, staff quarter etc. and toilets in JNVs.
5. Essay/Slogan/Poem writing, painting, Elocution, Quiz, Model Making competition for students on cleanliness and hygiene practices in JNVs.
6. Swachhata Awareness messages to be posted on the website of the JNVs. Photographs on Swachhata may be displayed in JNVs.
